Evolution of a living room, part 2
I am officially declaring the living room finished. I've seriously been working on it for almost three years, so it's about time. One of my favorite things to do now is to curl up on the couch with a candle. Actually, I don't actually curl up with the candle. That could get toasty. And I might burn up. But I do like to light a candle, curl up with a blanket, and sit. Sometimes read. Sometimes just sit. When I want to do that in a room, I know I am done with it....
...Until I decide to do something different. Of course, I always have new ideas of things I could do or wish I had done, but I am satisfied with the direction for now.
There are a couple of reasons why it took me so long to get pictures of the living room. One, I am not a great photographer (and the living room lighting is tricky), so I had to wait til Pete could help me, and two, we live in it, so it is not usually very clean. But the stars aligned, and I now have pictures. So without further ado, here are some shots:

And some more detail shots:
In closing, just in case you think I have a perfect house...
I do try to keep it picked up, but the inevitable always happens. These were all taken at the same time— just a few hours before I had a bunch of people coming over... Just thought you should know that. Happy Monday!
